Puking during or after a workout is something that people love to talk about or hear about. Amature athletes wear it as a badge of honor but it’s actually something that should not be happening.
Occasionally puking is a by-product of an extremely intense workout but not something that should be celebrated. If young athletes are being told they should be puking after a hard workout it can potentially lead to a lifetime dislike for exercise.
Intensity is the key to gains but using an RPE scale is a much better way to gauge your intensity than tossing your cookies.
